What are the steps?
Start days before the deadline, because the early steps can take time. Registration on some portals needs approval first.
- 1Read the tender's e-submission rules. In World Bank tenders, the data sheet states them (ITB 22.1).
- 2Register early. Bhutan's e-GP, for example, must approve a bidder before it can take part.
- 3Get any digital signature certificate the portal requires.
- 4Load standing documents ahead of time if the portal has a document library.
- 5Prepare files in the formats the tender names, and fill in the buyer's BOQ template unchanged.
- 6Arrange the bid security in the way the tender states.
- 7Upload well before closing, then check that each file opens.
- 8Complete the final step the portal asks for, such as the Submit button.
- 9Save the bid summary, status screen or confirmation e-mail.
