What is e-GP in Bangladesh?

It is the national e-Government Procurement portal at eprocure.gov.bd. BPPA owns and runs it, and public agencies use it to carry out procurement.

How much does e-GP registration cost?

The fee is BDT 5,000 for national tenderers and BDT 12,000 for international tenderers. You pay it at an e-GP member bank.

How much tender security is required for works?

Standard document e-PW3 says it should be no more than 3 percent of the official estimated cost. The tender states the fixed amount.

Which procurement rules apply now?

The Public Procurement Rules 2025 apply, with the Public Procurement Act 2006 as amended. BPPA also published an Amendment Act in April 2026, so check for later changes.

Where can I find construction tenders in Bangladesh?

Government construction tenders in Bangladesh appear on the national e-GP portal at eprocure.gov.bd. The Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority (BPPA) owns and runs it. You must register, pay a fee and pass a document check before you can bid.

Where are Bangladeshi construction tenders published?

Start with e-GP. A BPPA notice of 20 May 2026 says e-GP is mandatory for public procurement. It also says no manual tenders are allowed from 1 July 2026. Add ADB, World Bank and UN pages for lender-funded work.
